Psychotherapy and Counselling
Life can
feel very complex and we often lack a skilled, neutral person to talk
to. Therapy gives you an opportunity to explore and resolve issues
including relationships, anxiety, depression grief and anger, sex and
sexuality issues, family issues, self - defeating behaviours and
finding your place in the world.
We often feel things have to get
really bad before we approach a therapist but therapy can help most
people. In my experience, 90% of people who embark on therapy get a
real benefit - that's why I do it - because it's so rewarding! In
addition to my one to one work, I work a lot with couples - I did a
specialist couples therapy training and I also work a lot on issues to
do with sexuality.
Work Coaching
My other big focus is on work coaching
because I spent many years as a director and can combine my therapy
skills with my management expertise. I believe passionately that work related training programmes
only go so far. These
days we need a more individual approach which tackles our personal
relationship to work - how to work more effectively and with more
satisfaction and what blocks our creativity and potential.
